Why I’m Running

As a parent of two children in the Beaumont Unified School District and a dedicated community member, I am running for the local school board because I believe every student deserves to be heard, every family deserves support, and our schools are strongest when built on trust and partnership. Education is not one-size-fits-all, and I am committed to creating opportunities that help every student succeed and thrive.

As one of the fastest-growing cities in California, Beaumont must continue expanding its schools and facilities to meet the needs of new students and families. At the same time, we cannot lose sight of the schools, facilities, and communities that have served our district for years. Every student and teacher deserves safe, well-maintained learning environments that support academic success.

Student wellness must also remain a priority. I am committed to advocating for programs that support the whole child—not only academic achievement, but also physical, emotional, and mental well-being. This includes expanding access to mental health resources, strengthening student support services, and exploring opportunities to increase access to healthcare resources.

My goal is to foster stronger communication and collaboration between district leadership, educators, students, and families. By working together, we can build trust, strengthen our schools, and create a district where every student has the opportunity to succeed. As a candidate for Beaumont USD School Board Trustee Area 3, I believe it is a privilege to serve as a community representative, and it is a role that should be valued and fulfilled with humility. Together, we can build a district where every child has the tools to thrive and every family feels supported.
