Why I'm Running
As a parent of two children in the Beaumont Unified School District and a dedicated community member, I am running for the local school board because I believe every student deserves to be heard, every family deserves support, and our schools are strongest when built on trust and partnership. Education is not one-size-fits-all, and I am committed to creating opportunities that help every student succeed and thrive.
Our district faces several important challenges and opportunities. As one of the fastest-growing cities in California, Beaumont must continue expanding its schools and facilities to meet the needs of new students and families. At the same time, we cannot lose sight of the schools, facilities, and communities that have served our district for years. Every student and teacher deserves safe, well-maintained learning environments that support academic success.
Student wellness must also remain a priority. I am committed to advocating for programs that support the whole child—not only academic achievement, but also physical, emotional, and mental well-being. This includes expanding access to mental health resources, strengthening student support services, and exploring opportunities to increase access to healthcare resources.
My goal is to foster stronger communication and collaboration between district leadership, educators, students, and families. By working together, we can build trust, strengthen our schools, and create a district where every student has the opportunity to succeed.
Throughout the last seven years, I have dedicated much of my free time to serving on various committees at our local school sites and throughout our district. I have connected with families, encouraged student engagement, and advocated for teachers. Everyone has a voice in our district, and everyone deserves to have that voice heard.
As a candidate for Beaumont USD School Board Trustee Area 3, I believe it is a privilege to serve as a community representative, and it is a role that should be valued and fulfilled with humility. Together, we can build a district where every child has the tools to thrive and every family feels supported.
Como padre de dos estudiantes del Distrito Escolar Unificado de Beaumont, me postulo para la Mesa Directiva porque creo en apoyar a las familias, escuchar a los estudiantes y fortalecer la confianza en nuestra comunidad. Mi prioridad es garantizar escuelas seguras, apoyar el bienestar estudiantil y crear oportunidades para que todos los estudiantes tengan éxito mientras Beaumont continúa creciendo.
Durante los últimos siete años he servido en comités escolares y del distrito, apoyando a familias, estudiantes y maestros. Como candidata a la Mesa Directiva de Beaumont USD, creo que cada voz merece ser escuchada.
